My deisgn journey

🔬Started as a neuroscience major at UCSD, for the previous two years, I had been switching between majors under the biology department, struggling to settle on any of them.

🏕️After much searching online and asking advisors and friends, I decided to take an online UIUX course to try it out. The opportunity of digging into real problems and exploring various solutions through iterating user experience research has been an inspiring and fascinating experience for me.

🎨Moreover, with over 10 years experience of sketching, I've developed a huge interest in UI design as well as the underlying physiological and psychological effects of how we perceive the world.

All those factors have inspired me to be an active observer, a passionate listener and a data-driven experimenter. As a designer with a cognitive science background, I bring to every project the perspective of a cognitive scientist, which means I have an empirical attitude to user experience, user interaction, and user performance.
